After meeting someone new, how do you smoothly state your intentions?

so...this mid-30s woman flirted with me, a mid-20s guy, onboard a plane. sufficiently put, she gave me her number (verified, i asked), and she said i had nice pants.

at the same time, i just want to make sure she's not...like thinking we're soul mates or anything, and i just want a the date(s) to be casual and nice in bed!

how do i clarify this without sounding like a d-bag?After meeting someone new, how do you smoothly state your intentions?
no woman in her mid 30 who is intelligent enough to be able to buy her own plane ticket would think u re her soul mate after one casual date. so if i were u i wouldn't be worried about thatAfter meeting someone new, how do you smoothly state your intentions?
Maybe take her somewhere casual instead of romantic so it won't seem as if you're trying to ';woo'; her. Whenever the relationship topic comes up, just say casually that you are looking for something casual and that you are not looking to have a serious relationship at this point in your life. You can emphasize the fact that you are still young and not ready to commit to anything. Or that you're only in town for a few days (you met on a plane, right?)

That way, if she is looking for something serious, she'll realize right then that you are not right for each other. And if she still decides to sleep with you anyway knowing that it won't be anything more than just sex, then that's her decision, and you shouldn't feel guilty since you were honest up front. On the other hand, if she's looking for just a hook-up as well, she'll know that you're on the same page...score for both of you!
By the time we hit our 30's you can be honest about these things with us. If she came onto you then she is probably looking for the same thing you are a casual time.
';Look, all I want from you is a couple dates and a roll in the hay.';

BTW... this really is not an ETIQUETTE question... but thanks for asking!

Have a polite day.
Call her up and ask what she has in mind. I think she's interested in what's in those nice pants of yours.
