How can single people compete with married people?

If you are single and working in a office where married women flirt with the few single men available, how do you handle that? be jealous? ignore them? there is one married woman who is flirting with a guy I like and he seems to be more interested in her than me. He talks to me too but stops when other women is around. We are all the same age.How can single people compete with married people?
I don't see any competition in that situation. Any single guy who would be interested in married chicks, isn't someone I'd want to waste my time with anyway.

Why be interested in a guy who seems to have no moral values and prefers to chase after unavailable women? Find a guy with more self-respect than that. If a single guy has to go after married or taken women chances are he's a dog. Move on and find someone with more class.
Umm... you shouldnt be flirting or dating office people anyway. If you like him, ask him out. If you just are mad cause she gets more flirty time, get over it. If she starts having an affair with said coworker, tell her husband.
Why would a guy choose a married woman over a single one? The advantage is yours.
